 Training

Full training: Horses in full training receive work four to five days per week, at the discretion of the trainer. One or more training session per week may be substituted for a lesson on your horse at the discretion of the trainer. AnneMarie may use qualified assistants for grooming and exercising during the training of your horse. You are encouraged to check in on your horses' progress. Updates are always available via email or phone. Visits are encouraged! If you would like to watch your horse work, please arrange an appointment so that I can give you the attention you deserve.

$450.00 per month. (Horse must be boarded at Serenity Farm)

Partial Training: Horses may be eligible for partial training at the discretion of the trainer. Horses in partial training receive two to three days per week work. This option may not be reasonable for some horses. One lesson per week on your horse may be substituted for one training session at the discretion of the trainer. Please speak with me if this option interests you.

$350.00 per month (Horse must be boarded at Serenity Farm)

Training includes daily regular grooming. Clipping, braiding, mane and tail washing and shortening are additional, see below.

 Lessons

Private lesson (45 minutes)             $45.00

Semi-Private lesson (45minutes)     $35.00

Group Lesson (3 or more riders for one hour) $30.00

Training session for your horse (30 minutes) $35.00

Coaching at shows: per day, per horse   $45.00

Arena fees for haul-ins are extra. Arena fees at Serenity and Foxfire are $8.00.

Session Packages Offering Volume Discounts: Five or more sessions purchased in advance, your choice of lessons or training sessions for your horse: 10% discount. Sessions must be used within 3 months of purchase.

 

 Commission on Sales

As selling agent for your horse: 10% of final purchase price due at time of sale.

Purchasing a dressage horse is a big step. This means that the purchase process can be lengthy and include one or more try outs of the horse, vettings, and price negotiatiation. As selling agent I will market, and present your horse to its highest potential. My knowledge of the market place gives your horse exposure to more potential buyers. Our professional presentation of the horse assures that professional trainers and knowledgable buyers will recognize your horse as a high quality prospect.

As agent for sale:

I advertise the horse on my website and set up advertising for other sites.

I show the horse to buyers at no additional cost, so long as the horse is in full training. (If not, daily training fees apply.) I negotiate price and circumstances, and act as the third party between you and the buyer.

I attend and arrange all vettings and hold the down payment until the competion of the vetting.

I arrange all transportation and housing for the horse during the completion of sale and until the horse is shipped to the new owner.

Other costs associated with selling your horse that is not covered by the commission:

Your horse must be fit and show ready. This means he needs to be in training or seen several times per week (at AnneMarie's discretion) to ensure that the horse is properly prepared.

Preparing the horse for marketing video and pictures. Photographer and videographer costs.

Specific ads placed on public websites.

 

Buying Agent

I can help you find your new horse!

For current students or clients, there is no charge for initial consultation and pre-purchase phone calls to sellers on your behalf. (Re-imbursement for long distance charges applies.)

Evaluation fees:

Evaluation of sale horse on video: $35.00 per horse. An email statement regarding my evaluation of the video included.

Live evaluation: $45/per hour. Travel expenses additional. Long distance travel is possible by private treaty.

(Required for marketing of sales horses, includes editing, music, and posting on website. Grooming is not included.):

Board

Serenity Farm in Yelm, WA (click for pictures and website):

This is a gorgeous facility designed with horse sense. Forty-four box stalls with rubber mats. Feed available 3 times a day. Your choice of Orchard grass, Timothy, or Alfalfa, grain twice daily. Daily turnout available. 180x80 indoor arena with sand/mix footing. All the amenities: 4 hot water washracks, 4 cross-tie grooming areas, office, lunch/breakroom, barn bathroom complete with shower, laundry room. All on 40 acres with trail access. Lilly and Jeff Fletcher carefully maintain and staff this lovely barn so that your horse receives the best care, and your experience is comfortable and pleasant. Currently the horses in training are located here.

Full care board $450.

Arena fee $8.00 for haul ins.

Hauling within the local area :   $35.00 minimum, $1.00 per mile (round trip) after the first 20 miles. Price subject to change with fuel increases.
